Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas!

Each camp week the campers have Tuesday nights off from their evening program. This allows them to explore what Las Vegas has to offer. Some of them decide to drive up and down the Strip, or check out the Fremont Street Experience. Others will go out to Lake Mead or visit Hoover Dam. The truth is, there are probably more things to do in Vegas than you think, even activities that parents will approve of for their children. Below are a list of just a few attractions that are church and family friendly:

Las Vegas Sign – FREE

Bellagio Fountains – FREE

Bellagio Conservatory – FREE

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay

Roller Coaster at New York, New York

Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage

Adventure Dome at Circus Circus

Thrill Rides Atop the Stratosphere

Wildlife Habitat at Flamingo – FREE

Zip Line at Fremont and Bootleg Canyon

Springs Preserve

Ethel M’s Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden – FREE

Splash Canyon Waterpark – Opening in 2013!

Because the campers have Tuesday evenings free, that does mean there is no dinner served at camp. For all of you out-of-towners who want to find out all about In-n-Out, there are plenty of locations around Las Vegas to try the best hamburgers in the southwest. If you check out their site, you can order through their not so secret menu. For those of you with big groups or an appetite for something other than a delicious burger and fries, check out the buffet at any of the Station Casinos where there are so many choices of food and dessert no one will go hungry. Better yet, it’s a fantastic price for a group of teenagers with bottomless stomaches!
