Week of Hope is a summer camp designed for youth to participate in community service projects throughout many different cities across the United States. The Week of Hope camp in Las Vegas launched in the summer of 2011 and currently works with about 15-20 different non-profit organizations locally each summer, providing free labor for service projects.

This year in 2012, the volunteers who are coming to serve will be staying at Oasis Baptist Church, who so graciously opened their doors to house teams for the summer. The camps will run from June 16 – July 13th with a new group arriving each week. Projects will include working with the homeless in the the Las Vegas vicinity as well as underprivileged youth.

If you are someone who is interested in coming to Las Vegas to serve our community please check out the video below and this link to learn more about who and what Group Mission Trips are all about.

If you are a non-profit organization looking for volunteers for the summer of 2013 please respond to this article and the local coordinator in Las Vegas, Wes Stumbaugh, will contact you with more information.
